For the past 10 years, I want to say thank you.
I want to say thank you for being a constant that I could hold on to, thank you for growing with me, thank you for allowing me to love art that much more, and thank you for every happy moment you have brought to me. You’ve given me childhood memories, you were a safe haven, you engulfed me in your world and frankly I never wanted you to end.
But now you have. It seems almost impossible but you’ve finished your journey and lord knows how much of my feelings I cannot place into words.
To Kishimoto, I want to say thank you for sharing this world you took 15 years to carefully construct, thank you for teaching me to dream, for inspiring me, and for bringing me joy. I am not going to thank you for that ending because I am totally unfixable now, what do you mean Sasuke and Naruto aren't rainbows and gaymance, but I forgive you. We all know Sasunaru carried the whole manga.
I’ve gotten older but I’ve never been ashamed to say I still read Naruto because it’s a big part of how I grew up. I feel so old now that Naruto has finally reached its maturity and maybe it’s about time I started to grow up a little more myself.
But not before I doodle this, titled “What do you mean we both end up married in 600 chapters to women we obviously had no character development with and by the way we’re totally gay for each other.”
Thank you and goodbye everyone!
